What do you do when you find out that something seems so positive for someone on the surface is at the same time, devouring them on inside?
Which one are you? 😉
These guys are having a graffiti blast! Way too awesome..i wonder how many spray cans did they use…
There’s something about bookshelves that make me wanna……Oh…just look at those bookshelves!!!!
It’s amazing how messy bookshelves can just fit in randomly and nicely in a room and also make the room suddenly look…like it’s got character. Ha! It’s funny how I’ve never like the ones in the libraries though. I love books and of course, the smell of them. I just don’t have the attention span long enough to finish reading them. Most of the time, I find myself reading the first half of the books at least 3 times before I can finally get to the end. Distractions and forgetfulness are usually the main culprits but I’ve only come across so many books that can keep me interested way thru the end, at one go. The most recent one that I can think of, was the trilogy by Stieg Larsson. Then, iPad came into my life and I’ve since lost touch with paperback books….kinda…well, I’m more of a geek to a nerd, fo sho!
One of my self-proud moments was when I bought myself a bookshelf!
The following pictures were taken in the Queensland Parliament in Brisbane, Australia in 2008. I was fascinated by what I referred to as the “Harry Potter styled bookshelves” and started imagining magical books flying around the room and believed that one of the shelves have a hidden secret chamber behind. Paid absolute zero attention to what the guide was on about…hehehe…I’m just not a history person. =\
I’m very attracted to colonial style architecture designs.
I’ve always had questions that annoyed the heck out of people ever since I was young. Because many things don’t make sense to me and I just had to get that itch scratched ya know?? So I’ve decided I should start a category of “Wonders“ and post them whenever I have one.
This book caught my eyes when I was in Virginia earlier this year and instantly knew I had to buy it. Not as good as I expected it to be, oh well questions are good, just not the answers. Still quite an interesting read tho.
I visited the Singapore Arts Museum recently with rather high anticipation but only to end in much dismay with its current exhibition. The museum itself however, is a beautiful historic architecture building which was once a Catholic Boy’s School built in 1855. Love it! Anyhow, I felt disturbed by quite a few of the displayed artworks, unsettling. I just didn’t know how to appreciate them or perhaps not open-minded enough I guess. But feeling disturbed was never something I would have expected to experience. =\
It’s always good to know what’s out there tho.
Yippeee!!! I’ve got 20 followers in 11 posts! Not too bad huh? Aight, been too long since my last update and I have to apologise that I don’t have anything interesting to post today as well, but rather just a quick update to let interest parties know what’s going on. I have not abandon this website, of course not. But I’ve been pretty low and busy because of my dog’s illness (cancer’s spreading and she’s only got a few months left), so.. don’t really have the mood to post anything yet. I should get more time next week onwards, hopefully I’ll have some good updates for ya. I did bookmark a few interesting stuffs tho. So, cheers! I’ll post again soon and get this site going. =) xx
